RP Guidelines

For those of you who are new to Roleplaying (RP) or are not clear on how to RP properly, this is the guide to read up on. Below are a few basic rules and guidelines needed to know if anyone is to be a good and legit roleplayer:

#1: Before you can RP, you MUST POST A CHARACTER IN THE BAR! This way, the administrators and founders of the site can confirm your identity as a roleplayer. Can't fight someone if you don't exist! If you are having trouble thinking of character names or a bio, read other posts to get an idea, just don't steal anything we post! Some stuff is copyright, you know.

#2: Roleplaying is fan-based and can be fun, but make sure you don't god-modd (ex. SoL automatically hits Fyre and kills her. "Yay I won!") You have to make it fair (ex. SoL came at Fyre with a high flying kick aimed at her head "Hyaa!")

#3: Please everyone use the same type of Roleplaying style as to avoid confusion.

Ex.
Action Kalas was walking through the forest.
Speech "Hello there, Hiro."
Thought ~Wow...what a nice person!~

Of course, in the chat rooms it can be totally different.

Ex.
Action *walks over to tia and hugs*
Speech hey there ^^

#4: Make sure you use correct spelling and avoid typos whenever possible. Don't rush it, give yourself time to think about your next move, and finalize a strategic maneuver! Use your surroundings to create a setup for a devastating blow they won't see coming!

Ex.
Fyre was standing in front of a dark gate with many knives scattered across the ground.
Sai runs up to Fyre holding a long sword, charging to attack Fyre.
Fyre summons a giant gale at Sai, conjuring up the knives and sending them flying at Sai in a maelstrom of metal fury.

If used correctly, this strategic way of roleplaying can gain favor in battle and even put a stop to your enemies!

#5: Fighting is NOT the only roleplay available. Romantic RP's with a loved one or daily activities such as eating at a resturant with friends can be seen here. Mostly anyone here would be more than happy to RP with you so just ask in the chats for one, just avoid begging too much.
