Warning: This Bio contains Kalas' past and is particulary long.

Bio: Kalas was born on a small island called Tygale, located near the Pyronic Isles. This island was very hard to find, and most people believed it to be cursed, so it was taken off the map and considered a place nobody should go to. He grew up in a sound and carefree environment until about age 7, when an invading force from an unknown colony attacked the small, peaceful island. Kalas desperately tried to fight off the forces, but he was the only one besides his master with the gift of his island's skill: Wind Control. Because of this, and the fact that he was still learning as an apprentice, Kalas and his master were utterly defeated by the enemy. His master instructed him to flee the island and seek refuge among the common people, hoping the outside world would be kind to a neko boy. With his people dying, he did what he was told and ran into the forests, running until he came to the edges of the beach. Kalas was young, but he had strong will for such a shy child. He took his father's fishing canoe and ventured out, looking back at the smoke filling his homeland. He cried himself to sleep as he drifted in the wooden boat, having nightmares of his parent's fate as well as the rest of his neko islanders.

Upon awakening, he found himself surrounded by strange people he had never seen before. He had heard of tales, but never had he imagined he would meet the race called "Humans" in his lifetime, especially at such a young age. These humans seemed just as interested in him as he was in them, meeting some child that was not from the southern continental city of Granholm. They asked about his home and his family, making the young boy look down in sorrow as he explained himself to the many strangers. At the end of his tale, many of the people had saddened expressions, one of which made an offer to take him in as his own. Kalas immediately felt happier, but refused at first for fear of becoming a burden, but the human female insisted he would be no such burden and took him to her house. Her husband and the only child there told him many things and explained many customs to Kalas, and he wass much appreciated. Being the only one of the village other than human, he barely made friends other than Loki, the boy about his age who belonged to his new mother and father.

After a few years of content life in his new home, he still missed his family and friends at Tygale. He explained to his foster parents that he felt that he did not belong, and that he should search for more like his kind. He was now thirteen years old, and the couple agreed to let him do as he pleased. Loki managed to pack for both of them, and convinced his parents that he should go as well. Loki was fifteen and skilled at the spear. Kalas had improved his wind studies as well, and they started their little adventure together. The two travelled across the continent for a year and a half, and they encountered many a monster to battle. Some races and villages even saw the two as enemies and drove them away, but not all was misfortunate. Loki managed to talk to a few races, such as the dragons and the wolf demon people. They welcomed the two brave adventurers to their villages and tought them ways of combat and magic. Kalas was especially thought of as a prodigy among the dragons, and they tought him the way of transformation. Loki was given special armor and spears to help, and one member of the dragon and wolf clans joined them on their hunt for the remaining neko.

Unfortunately, they came across an evil demon whom had no name. He wielded a giant scepter imbued with dark energy and challenged the four. Kalas, Loki, the green dragon, and the grey wolf demon, all fought valiently to defend each other, but in the end the strange foe was far too powerful to overcome at their level, leading to the untimely death of Loki. Kalas felt many different emotions, and burst into a rage at the death of his foster brother and close friend. Kalas summoned a giant gust that was so powerful, it obliterated everything for miles around: trees, animals, even his comrads. With the death of his friends, and the evil creature barely moving, Kalas took the spear from Loki's hands, delivering a final blow to the demon. He looked around at the baren earth, and cried as he burried the three friends he had grown to hold so dear to his heart. As he was walking away from the gravesite, three lights came above him, all speaking to him. It was the three friends, and they all thanked him for his courage in defending them. Kalas thought he had killed the two and it was his fault they died, but they all told him to not think in such a way. They told him that he had incredible power, and that he could learn to harness these energies he contained within him. At this, Loki, the green dragon, and the grey wolf sent their power and a part of their soul into Kalas, giving him the transformation abilities and as well as their skills in battle.

Kalas used his newfound abilities to continue his search, and still ventures on today. He will meet many allies, fight many foes, and learn many skills along his adventure. He now lives in a small house inhabited only by himself in the middle of a small forest, where he owns the small acreage with trees and small animals. Kalas trains all of his skills everyday in hopes of protecting people he meets...
