Arky Vs Tia & Lee

Rk sits down on a stump, staring up at the sky. The sun is warm, while the breeze is cool and refreshing. Glancing back down at the earth, the trees and the grass seem to dance together. Its one of those perfect spring days.

Slowly I look around, after sencing two of my friends walking up.
"Howdy." Smiling happily. "How goes it you two?"

Tiamatt smiles as she enters the small clearing, bowing her head in greeting. "Hello Rk." Like always, the Oblivion Blade is attached to the left side of Tiamatt's waist while the diamond bladed Ryukinogami sits slung across her back.

I walk up to Tia and RK. In my hands is a band new, shiny green sword.

"Yo," I say. I laugh lightly at RK's expression.

Apparently he wasn't expecting me.

Rk nods back to Tia, smiling. Then nods over to V.
"Aperently I have to work on my detection abilities." Laughing softly, he turns around on the stump, facing everyone now.

Quietly he adjusts Nervanah, making sure it fits tightly against his back.

Tiamatt blinks a little eyes on Nirvanah as RK adjusts it on his back. "You haven't learned to summon your sword from the FORGE yet?"

Rk trys to smile.
"Not exactly. Im still getting used to the thing. There is a reason I didn't become the Keeper of Knowledge."

He leans down, resting his head on his arm.
"We all got a long way to go before we know everything about our swords."

Tiamatt nods in agreement with a light laugh. "True but learning to hide Alpha unless needed was one of the first things I learned". Holding out her hand, the white sword appeared in her hands. "See? Of course, you'll only be able to summon your own blade but it makes it much harder for others to steal our swords." Releasing the hilt, Alpha disappeared, leaving Tiamatt with only 2 swords once more.

"I am happy never having to summon the Heart of Corruption. For one thing its uncontrollable and for another, it would destroy the planet in the summoning... not fun. The only one who can hold its powers back would be the Keeper of Power. But he's not here right now, so no Heart of Corruption for me."

I hold out the new sword in my hand.

"This on the other hand is for Lee, when he shows up."

Rk watches Tia closely, then looks down as if in deep though. Then quickly he looks up with a smile.
"Well, Im sure I'll figure it out eventually. But I feal that it is safer as long as it is with me."

Laughing slightly, he places his hands onto another blade that is at his side.
"I'll be using this little puppy more often than not though. Knight swords just feal right in my hands."

Tiamatt smiles. "I understand, Rk. Its the same way for me and the Oblivion Blade. Besides, I'll never use Ryukino unless nessacary. Alpha always stays safe at the FORGE."

Looking around briefly, Tiamatt bites her lip, her eyes clouded with worry. "Kalas said he'd be here. Its not like him to be late."

Rk looks up at the sky again, and stares at it for a while.
"Eh, he'll show up if he can. I wouldnt worry to much."

Looks back down to the earth.
"Everyone is late every once and a while."

Tiamatt nods and sighs. "I know, Rk. but its hard for me not to worry about him. I hope he'll come soon." She looks over at Valian and the sword he holds in his hand. "I'm sure Kalas will love that blade."

"I'm sure he will too," I said. "How about a warm up match, eh?"

I hoist the Kaze Tsurugi over my shoulder. "I need to test this one out anyway."

"Heh' Tiamatt smiles a little, looking at Valian before looking at RK. "I think Rk is in more need of a warm up match then me. No offense, Rk"

"No offence taken. Its been to long since I actually fought. Im probably really rusty."

Slowly he stands up, brushing himself off. Quickly he leans down, and tightens his shoes. Standing back up, he scans the area.

"Well, lets get to it then. Nothing to big right a way though. Remember, this is just warm up." Smiling, he takes out a kunai and takes a defencive possition.

"Alrighty."

I swing the Kaze Tsurugi down and take up a medium attack stance. I subconsciously move my legs apart and I can feel my heart rate increase.

With a burst of adrenalin, I sprint forward. I raise the Kaze Tsurugi over my head, its green blade singing as it rips through the air. I gauge my strength, careful not to use all of it, and bring the sword down.

"Haa!"

Rk quickly takes his right hand and firmly grabs the handle of Nervanah, but leaves it sheathed on his back. As V gets with in striking distance, Rk quickly bends down.

"Balance!"

A dim light appears from the sheathed sword. V swings his sword, and it hits Nervanah, which is still on Rk's back.
"I have learned some things about Nervanah though." Smirks slightly as he takes a glance at Tia.

Quickly Rk takes the kunai and throws it with his left hand, aiming for V's chest.

I see the Kunai knife flying toward me. My body reacts before my mind can direct it to and I catch the small blade. I wince as the blade bites into my palm.

Must have over compensated when I caught it.

I leap back and away from RK and bring the Kaze Tsurugi to bear once more. I leap forward again, raise the sword over my head and listen to the blade hum with power as I focus minute amounts of wind energy into the blade. I grimace as I swing down, the cut on my hand still bleeding.

Though I swung a full three feet before I reached RK, the sword extended the blow with gale force winds for several yards in front of it. A line of wind swept grass stretched from the tip of the Kaze Tsurugi.

Kalas appeared in a small flash behind Tia and smiled lighty.

"Hello, love..." he spoke gently, wrapping his arms around her back. He was wearing black slacks and a dark-green coat over a shirt with designs of both black and an almost grey shade of green. He looked at RK and V fighting, noticing V's green blade. "Looks like it is complete."

Kalas gently kissed Tia's cheek and watched the match.

As soon as V catches the kunai, I take my right hand off of Nervanah and make a quick handsign.

Lightning Style: Thunder Thread jutsu.

A small cord of chakra, linking my left hand to the kunai, shows itself. Suddenly a small current of electricity passes through the cord, and enters V's body, messing with his muscle control. V still gets off the attack before the electricity reaches him. Making sure to keep the cord conected, Rk throws himself to the left, causing the wind to hit his leg. A flesh wound apears, and blood starts to stream out.

Hobbling onto his good foot, Rk stands up and smiles.
"Your not the first one to underestimate a simple kunai."

I stand up, my muscles twitching. It takes me miliseconds to narrow down the source to the Kunai in my hand.

Oh, haha, so that old trick. I can't believe I fell for it.

I concentrate on the energy in my body. I feel the foreign energy bouncing around my innards, disrupting the flow of my own energy.

"Nice one RK," I said. "Good thing I've mastered most of the Elements already, or this would have been debilitating. Still, it has slowed me down." I reach into my body and use my own energy to consume the foreign energy. Then I drop the Kunai. "Oh well, that was a good warm up."

I turn to Kalas. "Hey, you're new sword is finished." I grinned. "I just had to test it for myself. I hope you don't mind."

I walk up to Tia and Kalas and extend the hilt of the Kaze Tsurugi to him.

"She's all yours."

Tiamatt blushes lightly at Kalas' embrace and smiles, turning her head to look at him. "Hello Kalas" Her blush deepens from the kiss to her cheek before directing her attention to Valian. "It looks like a good sword. I can't wait to see what it can really do."

Rk hobbles back to the stump and sits down.
"Nice warm up V. You sure did a number on my leg here." Rk smiles, laughing at the flesh wound.

Stowly he lays his hand over the wound, and using his energy he starts to heal the wound. After the bleeding stopped, he took out some wraps and wrapped the wound tight.

"There we go. Good as knew."
Rk smiles again, and then looks up from the stump at the small group of people.

"Well, shall we start the main event?"

Kalas takes hold of the hilt of the newly created green sword, smiling at its feel. "A lovely sword...thank you Valian." he smiled to him as he wrapped it around his body with its shieth.

"Well...shall we begin?"

Tiamatt nods and smiles. "I'm ready when you two are." she reached over and placed a hand on the hilt of the Oblivion Blade, ready to pull it as soon as the ok was given.
