A Match with Truth - Kalas

Tiamatt tucks her wings in closer to her in her descent but the wind from the blow, pushes her back, forcing her wings away and blows her high into the air before tumbling down as the wind passes by. Regaining her sense, she opens her wings fully to slow her fall, stopping just a dozen feet above the ground.

As Tia is recovering and she starts looking up, Kalas appears in the air, heading right at her with a readied fist. "Haa!"

Tiamatt glances up and quickly moves a wing above her head, a loud cracking heard as Kalas' fist hit one of the fragile yet surprisingly strong bones in her wing. Gritting her teeth from the pain of the blow, Tiamatt falls to the ground feet first, her unjuried wing slowing her fall, and stumbles for a second at the rough landing but managing to stay on her feet.

Kalas lands firmly on the ground feet first, the height of the fall somewhat stinging his soles. "Ngg..." he got into yet another stance, this one with an arm down close to the ground with a hand open and fingers bent like a claw, his other high above his head with an open palm laid straight out pointing up. "Hey Tia, are you hurt?" keeps a serious face and maintains his battle stance.

Tiamatt opens the injuried wing part away, wincing before folding it back carefully. "its broken but i can manage for now. don't worry. Let's continue this." She holds out the Oblivion Blade, one hand tightly gripping hilt before the entire sword seemingly shatters before suddenly reform in her hand, the long sword gone and a katana now its it place. "time to kick it up a notch" Running forward towards Kalas, Tiamatt raises the reformed blade before bring it downwards towards Kalas, a strange energy now seeming to following behind the blade.

Kalas spins around like a top, forming a light blue orb of wind around him as he swiftly dodges the katana, moving back into a tree and ricochetting off it. "W-Whoa...Yeah!" he bounces off the tree and goes straight for Tia again. The tree where the blue part hit is completely removed of its bark.

Tiamatt grins at seeing her opponent ricohet back towards her and tightens her grip on Shitsunen no Kiba, the strange energy that followed it now surrounding the blade. "perfect.." Tiamatt spins on her toes in a complete 360, her katana extended outwards, slicing through the wind barrier and towards Kalas.

Kalas' wind orb disspelled from Tia's blade, sending him flying towards the clearing, his back hitting a stump as he landed. He coughed, the dust forming from his land growing large as his body is riddled with dirt and pain. "O-Oww..." he stood up from his landing spot very slowly, gathering up his energy to stand.

Tiamatt takes a step towards Kalas, worry and concern once more seen in her eyes as she looked him over. "Kalas, are you alright?" Her grip on Shitsunen no Kiba loosens and the energy around it dissapates, the sword shattering and once more reforming in her hand, now back in its original form.

Kalas looked at her and nodded. "You're very honorable in battle Tia...and strong..." he smirked as he dissappeared. His voice echoed through the wooded area around Tia. "..But being too kind will lose your favor in battle...be careful." he appeared at Tia's left suddenly, the Sword of Truth drawn and extended to Tia's neck, nearly a few inches away from her. "...I won't give up so easilly, just so you know..."

Tiamatt laughs lightly. "I wouldn't expect anything less from you, Kalas." She eyes the red bladed sword just a few inches from her neck and smiles. "There is no need to use your sword upon me either. I speak the truth. You're not the only one with a FORGE sword either. However, i don't need Alpha or Ryukino for this fight." Tiamatt spins out of the way, swinging her blade out towards Kalas.

Kalas smiled as he held his sword up, keeping the attacking blade from getting to close for comfort. "I trust you, Tia...unfortunately, this is my only weapon besides my fists. Doesn't seem that fair you attacking me with a katana when I am not using any weapons, don't you think?" Kalas parrys the sword and goes for a leg sweep to knock Tia off her feet.

Tiamatt smirks, flipping back away form his sweep. "you use what you have availble, Kalas. I personally, won't go anywhere without the Oblivion Blade. Just be glad it cant maintain its katana form permenantly. but if you prefer, i could always use one of my FORGE weapons"

Kalas jumps to Tia and spins rapidly towards her with an extended leg. "Less talk more fight, Tia!"

Tiamatt smirks, planting her feet firmly to the ground and raising the Oblivion Blade horizontally, one hand on the hilt and the other bracing the flat of the blade, to help block the oncoming blows. She slides a foot or two back from the force of Kalas' kicks before suddenly clawed toes keep her anchored firmly to the ground, a long red scaled tail whipping out behind her for added balance. "Fine then, Kalas" Tiamatt grinned, her smile now showing fangs as more and more of the human transformation wore off, her hands now also clawed.

Kalas backed off, jumping backwards away from the transforming Tia. "Hm." He put his hands together and shot another concentrated air strike towards Tia, jumping up after he did so and closing his eyes as he clasps his hands together.

Tiamatt growls as she drops to all fours, the air strike pushing her into the ground, a faint glow behind her fangs as she shakes off the remains of attack before rearing her head back, roaring as she releases a stream of fire towards Kalas.

When the fire got close, Kalas opened his eyes and threw out his arms and legs, his eyes glowing blue momentarilly as a great ball was concentrated at his hands and chest, the one on his chest growing as he focused. It shot out and collided with the fire, extinguishing both attacks. Kalas was now making his other orbs in his hands grow, from the size of softballs to what now where about the size of a queen-sized bed. He was muttering some incantation as he focused more, the blue orbs forming into one now. The orb was large and nearly trasparent as it began sucking up the knives scattered across the training field.

Tiamatt growls, glancing around at the training grounds as the knives are sucked up before focusing her sharp glare at Kalas. Pushing off the ground, she leaps at him, fangs open and aimed for his arms.

In an instant, the blue orb is released, sending all the objects it retracted within itself outward in a random flurry. Kalas closed his eyes as his arms drooped a bit out of sheer fatigue. "Haa...haa..." he was still in midair but seemed like he would pass out.

Tiamatt snarls as the blade fly past her, slicing through the delicate wing membrances and some leaving long gashes along her legs, one pinned between the scales on her foreleg while several others are sticking out of her back. Growling, Tiamatt builds up another flame in her throat, trying to ignore her injuries and the large amount of blood seeping from her wings*

Kalas starts descending now, slumped over as he is singed by Tia's fireblasts. "AH!" he screams as he falls quickly to the ground and landing on his feet, then he fell to one knee. The wind around him put out the fire but left him badly injured by the heat. "Gah..." his clothes were slightly burned as well now.

Tiamatt looks at Kalas, eyes again filled with concern as she takes a step towards him, leaving a trail of blood behind her from her wings. "Kalas...are you alright?"

Kalas opened his eyes and looked up at the bleeding dragon. He then smirked and chuckled lightly, looking down as his eyes closed again. He was breathing rather heavilly. "Why do you keep asking that...You're the one whose..hurt more here..." he rubbed his arm softly but winced. "Damn..."

Tiamatt frowns and sits down on her haunches, leaning her head forward to lick Kalas' arm. "why wouldn't ask that? I didn't want to hurt you as much as you didn't want to hurt me." Tiamatt stand back up, starting her human transformation before falling forward, losing consciousness from teh bloodloss.
